They are rich in fiber, omega-3 fatty acids, proteinas well as antioxidants and minerals. It is believed that they have a positive effect on the digestive and circulatory systems, as well as improve the condition of the skin.

Chia seed pudding is an interesting, healthy and, above all, delicious addition to your diet, which will be perfect as a dessert. It can be prepared with plant drinks, thanks to which it will perfectly fit into a vegan and vegetarian diet. Moreover, due to its delicate flavor, you can use any fruit as an addition to it. It will go great with banana, baked apple, pumpkin, but also raspberries, strawberries, mangoes and others.

Chia pudding – a step-by-step recipe

  • chia seeds – 125 g,
  • Favorite plant milk, e.g. almond, coconut, oat, soy milk – 250 ml,
  • frozen fruit – 70 g,
  • banana – 1 piece,
  • vanilla pod,
  • cocoa (optional if we want chocolate pudding) – 40 g.
  1. 1Cut the vanilla pod and select the seeds
  2. 2Pour milk over the seeds, add the vanilla seeds and let them swell for 30-60 minutes.
  3. 3Meanwhile, if you want to add more fruit, defrost the fruit and fry it in a deep-bottom saucepan until it becomes thicker. Optionally, they can be sweetened with a sweetener, erythritol, xylitol, sugar or honey.
  4. 4Put the swollen seeds in a blender with banana and cocoa. Blend until smooth. Everything can be gently heated in a saucepan or microwave.
  5. 5Put the dessert into a dish and pour over the fruit sauce.
